Greene County Girl Scout Troop 462 thanked the community for its support in buying cookies and donating money during the 2015 cookie season. They appreciate Fareway and Hy-Vee for allowing the troop to set up cookie booths in their stores.
The girls sold an amazing 3,366 boxes of cookies.
This year the Girl Scouts are giving back to the community. They donated 319 food items to the Greene County Christian Action Resource Center in Jefferson. Six girls and parents unloaded the donations and help sort food for distribution.
